Before you enroll.

Do I follow my own fasting schedule, or does the study set one?
Your own. You match to the protocol closest to what you already do — 12:12, 16:8, one meal a day, a longer fast — and keep your own rhythm. We observe and measure against where you started; we don't hand you a plan to follow.
Do I have to change what or how I eat?
No. Eat the way you already eat — this study is about the fasting window, not a diet we put you on. All we ask is that you report it honestly.
Is fasting safe for me, especially if I take medication or have a health condition?
Fasting isn't safe for everyone. Don't start a protocol if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have a current or past eating disorder, take diabetes medication (especially insulin or sulfonylureas, a common class of blood-sugar pills), have a chronic condition, or are under 18 — and talk to your physician first either way. The study is observational, not medical advice; if a question needs a clinician, see one.
What do I have to track, and do I need a wearable or device?
No wearable needed. Once a day you log how you felt — mood, energy, sleep, hunger, cravings, focus — in about a minute. If you already wear a tracker you're welcome to add it, but the study runs fine on your own honest report.
What will I see at the end, and how long does it run?
Most protocols run 7 to 30 days. At the end you see your own result first — what the window changed, measured against where you started — then the cohort report in full: the effect size, its uncertainty, and what's still unsettled. Your data stays yours, free for founding members.
